They spent their first decade of a band ruling the underground, releasing various LPs on SST and touring non stop, bringing their No Wave influenced rock to every corner of the globe. By 1990, the band, which consisted of Kim Godron, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo, and Steve Shelley, had signed to major label DGC for the release of Goo, their sixth album. Two years later in 1992, the SY followed
