This is a 50s era black nylon full slip sold by Reitman’s of Canada

There is a decorative rosette and blue bow at the front waist and there are four covered buttons and loops down the front of the bodice

The jacket is made in typical 50s style with a tapered waist and slightly padded shoulders

I haven’t been able to find anything on this Kashmalam fabric other than a 1957 ad from an Ottawa newspaper
