Jacques Prieur, Corton Charlemagne Blanc Vintage:2010 This is quite densely fruited(from a . 22 ha parcel in Le Corton). More subtle wood influence frames notes of lime, green apple, white flower and a bit of anise that can also be found on the intensely stony and big bodied flavors that are almost aggressively mineral in character before culminating in a palate staining and driving finish where the intensity does a slow but sure build from the dense mid palate to the explosive finale. This is not an elegant Corton Charlemagne but
