it is difficult to know what type of velvet this is - I assume that it is a quality viscose velvet

rather art deco looking

although they were located within 2 blocks of Savile Row

but I would tend to attribute it to Vidal rather than Larin as Larin tended not to make larger pieces

Vintage 70s Hooded Sweater Coat Cuddle Knit Sz L Unused NWT 1900s He showed his first collectionThis is an unused ladies vintage 70s hooded sweater coat still with its original content tag affixed to it at the bottom back. This hooded sweater coat has dropped shoulder, wrist length sleeves and a large patch pocket at either lower side. It is knit of 30% wool, 20% Dacron and 50% wintuk, which is a type of acrylic yarn in blended tones of off white, ochre and black. It closes at the front with four pegs and loops.
