although it could date anywhere between the 1920s and 1950s

The yellow on this is in a muted tone

Vintage 1940s Tap Pants Panties Underwear Stanfields Nova Silk Medium circle Brooksgate was Brooks’ youth orientedThis is a wonderful pair of vintage tap pants (panties underwear) made by Stanfields under their Novasilk brand. Stanfields is a vulnerable Canadian manufacturer of underwear, founded in 1870 at the Truro, Nova Scotia Woolen mills. They close on the side at the waistline with two buttons and have a short elasticized band at the back waist that provides a bit of fit stretch. Ive posed them with a DuBarry bra that is dated 1947, being sold separately.
