It is hand rolled and stitched on the edge

and I have posed it tucked into the skirt as well as out of the skirt

Vintage Red Sewing Fabric Fur Coat Lining 1950s Rose Woven Motif approx 10 yd shirt small tucks at the shoulderThis is vintage red woven fabric, unused in a bolt that measures about 54 in width. I have presently about 10 yards available. The fabric has a repeating black rose floral motif woven into the red silk base, quite striking. Please note that the top side has a satin finish while the underside is a matte weave and has more of the black colour apparent so that the colour is a darker red.
